SKI AND RIDE SCHOOLS

Learning to ski and snowboard should be a blast. That’s the premise of our new Terrain Based Learning™ system. By redesigning our teaching terrain with small features you might find in a freestyle terrain park, learning to ski and ride is simpler, more intuitive and a lot more fun.

We believe the safest, most fun way to learn freestyle is gradually. That’s why our five terrain parks come in progressively larger sizes. From the smallest with mini rolls and rails to get your feet wet, to our largest with huge kickers and a monster pipe to help you earn loads of frequent flyer miles.

SNOWSHOE’S ALL-NEW SNOW MAKING POWER

There will be snow. Guaranteed. And not just because winter storms from the North and the East love to congregate here. New for this 2018/19 ski season is an army of freshly installed, state-of-the-art snow guns. This means we’re able to open terrain sooner, leave it open longer, and guarantee more open terrain than any other ski mountain in the Southeast. You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy 150 new snow guns. Yup, you win.

Did someone say horsepower? Our snowmobiles, Polaris RZR's and Ace tours let you experience Snowshoe’s backcountry from an exhilarating new perspective. We even offer a night time tour out to our Sunrise Backcountry Hut where you’ll enjoy a decadent 4-course meal. Hungry for mystery? The Cabin in the Woods escape room serves up riddles, mystery and Mountain folklore for our most daring guests.

NIGHT SKIING AT SILVER CREEK

For a few extra runs after the lifts close, head to Silver Creek where we flip the lights on for a little extended adventuring pleasure. Not your average bulbs, the extra-bright LED lights offer a thrilling new perspective on descending the Mountain. Night skiing is included with your day ticket.
